Final Exam Registration

In the final semester of the Bachelor's degree programme (8th semester) and the Master's degree programme (4th semester), the examinations are taken in the Bachelor's thesis and Master's thesis modules. These modules are also referred to as final examinations. Registration for these examinations is conducted via eislerCampus (https://eislercampus.hfm-berlin.de). Bachelor's students are reminded to register by email after the 7th semester and Master's students after the 3rd semester.

Registration for the written Bachelor's thesis and registration for the written Master's thesis takes place after re-registration for the 8th semester of the Bachelor's degree programme or the 4th semester of the Master's degree programme by 31 March for the summer semester and by 30 September for the winter semester.

The topics for written Bachelor's and Master's theses are formally issued by the respective departments on the basis of registrations at the first departmental council meeting of the semester and communicated immediately to the Examination Office, which records the registrations and informs students of the submission deadline electronically via their university email address. Students can also view their individual submission deadline in eilserCampus in the 'Deadlines' section, labelled either 'Written Bachelor Thesis' or 'Written Master Thesis'.

Written theses must be submitted in triplicate to the Examination Office by the deadline.

When submitting written Bachelor's or Master's theses to the Examination Office, students are also required to submit a declaration of independent work (form).
