  • Studies with Prof. Marie-Luise Neunecker at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt/Main, graduation with concert exam; scholarship holder with the ¡°Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes¡± (German Academic Scholarship Foundation) and the ¡°Villa Musica¡±; prizewinner at numerous international competitions, among them the ARD Music Competition in Munich
  • From 1997 until 2016: solo horn player with the Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester
  • Appearances as a soloist with a number of major orchestras, among them the SWR-Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart, the M¨¹nchner Symphonikern, the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart, the W¨¹rttembergisches Kammerorchester, and the Britten Sinfonia, as well as collaborations with conductors such as Oleg Caetani, Toshiyuki Kamioka, and Helmuth Rilling
  • Appearances as a soloist in Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Croatia, China, and the United States, as well as at prestigious festivals, among them multiple appearances with the ¡°Spannungen¡± Chamber Music Festival in Heimbach, the Moritzburg Festival, the Sommerliche Musiktage Hitzacker, and the Albert Musikfest Jahrhundertklang in Freiburg
  • Active as a chamber musician with various partners, including Christian Tetzlaff, Isabelle van Keulen, Kirill Gerstein, Lars Vogt, and Sharon Kam
  • Participation in premiere performances of chamber music works, among others by J?rg Widmann, Brett Dean, and Detlev Glanert
