Statement on Accessibility by the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin

The Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin strives to make its websites and mobile apps handicapped accessible in conformity with nationwide regulations designed to implement Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

What is already handicapped accessible?

  • Images that are relevant to an understanding of content are provided with an alternative text.
  • Pages are equipped with informative headings and organized accurately.
  • Articles are introduced by H2 headers and grouped together.
  • Enumerations are presented as lists.
  • E-mail links are set with the correct TYPO3 element and provided with instructions for opening an external e-mail program.

The current state of compatibility with the requirements

The following contents are not handicapped accessible:

  • Websites are not yet entirely consistent with the above-named guidelines. Inconsistencies are listed below.
  • PDF documents have not yet been converted to a handicapped accessible format
  • Integrated videos have not yet been provided with subtitles or transcripts
